نتیجه مصاحبه سطح 4 گروه 4  که در روز چهارشنبه 90/9/23 برگزار گردید به شرح زیر اعلام میشود

Omid Zare

Omid was a clear, steady speaker and could comprehend a lot of questions, but he often gave very short replies and he thus needed to be prompted several times. Also, he struggled with certain grammar points as he often used conflicting verbs and used the incorrect tense.

Dariyosh Saadat

Dariyosh spoke at a reasonable speed and listened intently to each question, if he was unsure, he would check the meaning. Although he was able to pronounce words well, he struggled to put them in the correct order and was not able to use the most appropriate tense, for example, ‘five years I live in Shiraz’.

Gholamreza Mansori

Gholamreza was a pleasant candidate who spoke quietly but was able to stress words accurately. I believe he ought to focus on his vocabulary a lot more as he had many difficulties with understanding the questions and he struggled to give a reasonable response. Also, he should work on making complete sentences as he generally gave one word answers or just listed his ideas.

Solmaz Dehghani

Solmaz was able to respond to each question immediately, thus demonstrating good listening skills. Also, she used conditional language well and emphasised for a more native sound. There were a couple of plural errors and, at times, she had to be asked further questions to elicit additional information, but when she replied it was always relevant.

Ehsan Kiyan

Ehsan used short, but complete sentences; and he could easily use comparative language to talk about similarities and differences. A few times he had to be asked more to allow him to express himself better, so he should try to expand further next time without being nudged. Also, he had some issues with using the correct prepositions when one was needed, such as, ‘at four years ago’.

Saeed Pazira

Saeed could give a lot of in-depth information at the start and especially in relation to his family. Also, he used the first conditional structure well and used some key vocabulary. He often confused verb forms as he tended to omit gerunds when he should not have.

Shabnam Marzban

Shabnam was a pleasant student who could use the present tense well and had good descriptive skills. Having said this, she had a lot of difficulties with understanding many of the questions and this resulted in either a one word response or a very brief one which did not fully answer the question. Therefore, Shabnam should work on her listening and vocabulary more.

Maryam Zarei

Maryam self-corrected herself, used applicable vocabulary and demonstrated good sentence structures as she never struggled with the correct word order. There were a few times when she slightly misunderstood what she had heard, as when asked for her full name, she gave her phone number instead. Also, she should try to improve her oral speed.

Zahra Famori

Zahra used quite advanced expressions for this level and this was evident because if she was not familiar with a topic, she would try to answer it as best as possible. One example would be that with one question her response was ‘I don’t know exactly, but I think …’. Also, she could use complex sentence structures with phrasal verbs and had very good pronunciation. Zahra only made slight mistakes, One of her main ones was a confusion of male and female job titles as she referred to a man as an ‘actress’ and a woman as an ‘actor’.

Zahra Naseri

Zahra gave a good description to start and used complete sentences with reasons to back up what she was saying. She struggled to comprehend a hand full of questions so they had to be adapted or changed now and again. Also, she would benefit from extending some of her responses as although a lot of them were relevant, sometimes they were rather brief.

Ali Jafargholizadeh

Ali gave a full introduction of himself which contain a lot of interesting vocabulary. Also, he was able to deal with conditional questions well and could pronounce contractions well. However, he needs to watch his pronouns as he often confused ‘his’ with ‘her’ and ‘he’ with ‘she’.

Behnam Amiri

Behnam was a competent speaker of English and he demonstrated quite an advanced range of vocabulary with some of the responses he gave. Also, he could easy understand individual questions without any hesitation and he gave appropriate answers. Although he could give accurate replies, he had to be prompted a few times and there were a couple of prepositional error, such as, ‘at the classroom’, but these were minuet.

Farhad Hoshmandi

Farhad used the plural forms of words well in his answers; he was able to self correct and had a good range of vocabulary such as ‘historical’. He needs to work on third person verb form as this was where his main mistakes lied.
