Level 6

Nazanin MohamadiNejad

Nazanin spoke at a good pace and used comparative language extremely well when talking about the differences between eating habits in the past and now. Also, she was able to use opening expressions well and made some important points which she supported with examples. There were a couple of errors when she spoke about the present as she used ‘didn’t’ instead of ‘don’t’. Furthermore, she tended to miss out articles, so she needs to focus on this more in the future.

Pariya Shabani

Pariya gave a detailed description of her family and she was able to do the same for all of the questions asked. Furthermore, she used a variety of words in her answers and spoke clearly. She now needs to work on her pronunciation as she stressed ‘diabetic’ incorrectly and mispronounced a few words. Also, she needs to be careful with articles as on a few occasions she missed them off nouns.

Maryam  Dozaneh

Maryam used appropriate vocabulary, especially adjectives, throughout, such as, ‘prominent’. Also, she used examples to support her answers and she used phrasal verbs. However, she misunderstood a question on ‘obesity’ as she talked about effects rather than the causes. Also, she should work on third person forms because she used ‘don’t’ instead of ‘doesn’t’ a few times.

Ali Reza  Pakyari

Ali gave an in-depth introduction and spoke at a steady pace. Furthermore, he could paraphrase the questions in his replies and he used good opening expressions. He needs to work on his grammar further because he left articles out of his sentences and used comparative adjectives incorrectly, such as, ‘more easy to use’.

Esmail Tavanaei

Esmail gave quite brief answers, but he used a good amount of vocabulary. Also, he had good ideas, but when he tried to put them in complete sentences, he struggled with the word order or used the incorrect form of a word. Furthermore, he should work on his listening more because he answered a couple of questions incorrectly.

Mandana Madani

Mandana could self correct and used comparative adjectives correctly. Furthermore, she used phrasal verbs well and could comprehend all of the questions. However, she now needs to work on expanding her answers as sometimes she would need additional prompts to get more information. Also, she confused the verb to be with ‘have’ e.g. ‘ I have 28 years old’.

Amir  HoseinMadani

Amir gave a good description about his life and used a wide range of vocabulary. Also, he used some good opening phrases and spoke in complete sentences. Having said this, he mixed up ‘he’ and ‘she’ on several occasions and used the present continuous tense when it should have been the present simple.

Mohamad Reza  Abasi

Mohamad could self correct his pronunciation and gave appropriate responses to questions in simple sentences. However, he needs to work on expanding his answers because he gave quite short replies, also, he made some third person verb mistakes so he should work on this too.

Maryam  Haghnegahdar

Maryam gave a short introduction, but when it came to answering the individual questions she could give a lengthy reply. Also, she used words to emphasis her answers and used the first conditional well. She now needs to work on her grammar more because there were a couple of errors with verb patterns and she missed the ‘s’ off plural nouns.

Mohamad Ranjkesh

Mohamad used appropriate opening phrases and used adjectives well in his answers. Also, he spoke clearly and at a good pace. He should work on his grammar a little more though as he would use a singular verb to be instead of a plural one, also, he sometimes used the wrong form of a word.

EhsanJafari  Pour

Ehsan spoke at a natural pace and used comparative language well. Furthermore, he used a variety of tense, including future simple, and he was able to give a balanced argument. He needs to work on his grammar as he used articles incorrectly, such as, ‘I invited him to the travel’, and sometimes just used an auxiliary verb with the main one e.g. ‘I haven’t enough’.

Mohamd Shakibamanesh

Mohamd could give a lot of information on food and used good examples to support his answers. Also, he used linkers well and spoke clearly. However, he had a couple of pronunciation issues as he pronounced ‘photography’ wrong repeatedly and he also had some errors with the word order of sentences.

Fatemeh Kamaliniya

Fatemehused an adequate amount of vocabulary which suited the questions perfectly, such as, ‘I’m silent rebel’. Also, she used an array of adjectives and she could give reasons for her views. She often missed out articles before nouns and did not use pronouns at times, so she should work on her grammar a little more to reduce this.

Frahad Mahmodi

Frahad used conditional structures well and used a lot of comparative language when talking about similarities and differences. He had a couple of problems when it came to comprehending the questions as he struggled with some of the vocabulary in them, so he should work on extending his vocabulary. Also, he needs to improve his listening as he had to have some questions repeated.

Mohamad Pashpour

Mohamad used possessive pronouns well and had good pronunciation skills. Furthermore, he had excellent listening skills because he could understand each question instantaneously. He needs to focus on his grammar more because he used pronouns incorrectly, such as, using ‘he’ for his sister, also he did not use gerunds when he should have e.g. ‘I use it for send emails’.

Keivan Azizi

Keivan was a very clear speaker and could use comparative language correctly. Furthermore, he gave full responses and used linkers to join his ideas together. He did not use articles with some nouns, such as, ‘I like being in group’, and he should use contractions more.

Sepehr Farzan

Sepehr used opening phrases throughout and spoke confidently. Also, he used wide range of vocabulary in his responses and supported his answers with a reason. He missed out the verb to be at times, such as, ‘I talkative’, and he used the present simple tense to reply to a past simple question.

Maryam  Sharafi

Maryam gave a good description of her background and used brilliant opening expressions, like, ‘in my opinion’. Furthermore, she was able to comprehend the more complex questions and she formed second conditional sentences well. She should work on her preposition patterns as she often used an incorrect one, such as, ‘I use for keep in touch’.

Negar Saeedi

Negar could rephrase her answers with synonyms wherever possible and used phrasal verbs well. Also, she had a lot of good ideas, but she generally listed them rather than joining them together with linkers. Negar should work on word order slightly too as she put an adjective after the noun instead of before e.g. ‘I haven’t got time enough’.

Zahra  Rozitalab

Zahra could expand her answers with ease and used a lot of examples in her replies. Furthermore, she used an excellent array of words and spoke in complete sentences. She should work on her pronunciation a little more as she mispronounced ‘rebel’ and her intonation was slightly off at times.
