Masoud had excellent listening skills as he was able to comprehend all of his questions easily. Furthermore, he had good pronunciation skills and was able to use descriptive language correctly. However, he needs to work on using short answers more before going straight into his answers as once or twice he would say ‘yes’ rather than ‘yes I can…’. Also, he missed the ‘s’ off some third person verbs and needs to use linkers more to join some of his ideas together.

Having said this, there were a few occasions when he used an incorrect tense, such as, when he was asked about his free time activities, he used the present continuous instead of present simple. Also, he missed indefinite articles out of his setences.

Mehzad Sakiyani

Having said this, she made a couple of word order mistakes and when she was asked to name months of the year, she only managed to name five and these were not in order. Finally, she should work on her listening some more because when asked about her mother’s looks she spoke about how she looked similar to her instead.

Mozhdeh Esfandiyari

Mozhdeh could comprehend the majority of questions with ease and was able to speak in simple sentences relatively well. Also, he should try and use pronouns more to reduce repetition of the same word.
