Zahra  Mesbah

Zahra used the present simple tense well and was able to use examples suitably in her answers. Also, she adverbs throughout and had excellent pronunciation. Furthermore, she barely made any grammatical errors, but once or twice she used an incorrect preposition, such as, ‘in the flight’. Finally, she should try to use more advanced language, including phrasal verbs and idioms.

Samireh  Saberi

Samireh was able to use clauses well and used personal examples well. Furthermore, she could give detailed response and used modal verbs appropriately. Having said this, she needs to work on her listening slightly as when asked about healthy habits, she spoke about her own hobbies. Also, she spoke in the present simple tense instead of the past simple a couple of times.

Reza  Sharifi

Reza used conditional language correctly and was able to comprehend all of his questions easily. In addition, he spoke at a good pace and could speak in simple sentences. However, he often added ‘ing’ to present and past verbs as he said, ‘I’m going to Kish last summer’. Also, he used an incorrect word form a few times and should try to use more linkers.

Nilofar  Dadvar

Nilofar used a wide range of vocabulary and used modal structures correctly. Furthermore, she used some excellent phrases, such as, ‘I hear it’s pretty scenic’. She made a couple of mistakes with prepositional patterns because she said ‘avoid eat junk food’. Finally, she should work on her listening slightly as she misheard a couple of questions as when asked about what type of vacation she preferred, she spoke about her vacation plans.

Sorosh  Shahabiyan

Sorosh used conjunctions well and had good pronunciation skills. However, he needs to work on his listening more because he often miscomprehended his questions which resulted in an inappropriate response being given, for example when he was asked about the dress code in Iran, he named types of clothes. Furthermore, he needs to work on ways to expand his answers as they were often too short.

Mohamad  Ramezanzadeh

Mohamad used adverbs and conjunctions correctly. Also, he used a wide range of vocabulary and several examples. Having said this, he made a few prepositional mistakes, such as, ‘in vacation’ and did not use the past simple tense when he should have. Furthermore, he made some pronunciation errors, in particular with his ‘v’s as he would pronounce them as a ‘w’.

Alireza  Banazadeh

Alireza spoke in full sentences and gave detailed answers as he could support his ideas with examples. However, he needs to work on his listening more because he misheard many of his questions. One example of this is when he was asked about why people exercise because he responded with how he exercised. Furthermore, he should try to speak faster as he often spoke quite slow or paused in between his sentences.

Poriya  Sabazadeh

Poriya used some excellent phases, including idiomatic language. Furthermore, he could comprehend all of his questions well. Having said this, he needs to work on his word order more as he often spoke in full sentences, but the words were in the wrong order, such as, ‘french fries I don’t like’. Also, he used ‘ing’ forms with verbs which do not have an ‘ing’ form.

Zahra   Gharabati

Zahra used conditional language and adverbs well. In addition, she spoke at a good pace and used a wide range of vocabulary and suitable examples throughout. However, she made one or two pronunciation errors, such as, ‘sweet’ for ‘suit, she should also try to use idiomatic language more to become more fluent.

Mohsen  Kargar

Mohsen had excellent pronunciation and was able to use the present and past tenses appropriately. Furthermore, he used pronouns and phrasal verbs suitably. However, he needs to work on using more examples as he often gave quite brief replies. Also, he did not use ‘to’ with certain verbs, such as, ‘I like sleep until 10am’.

Davod Jafari

Davod could speak in simple sentences well and used a reasonable amount of vocabulary. Having said this, he struggled to comprehend a lot of his questions and this resulted in him not being able to give an answer and he would just ask for another question to be asked, so he needs to work on his comprehension more. Also, he should try to use more examples as a way to make his answers longer because they were rather short.

Zahra  Mohseni

Zahra gave a detailed introduction and this continued with detailed answers throughout. Furthermore, she used modal verbs and phrasal verbs appropriately. However, she made some prepositional errors, such as, ‘I like relaxing to the beach’ and she should try and use idiomatic language more.

Mohamad  RezaGardeNorozi

Mohamad spoke clearly and had good pronunciation skills. Also, he used suitable vocabulary. However, he gave quite short replies, so he should work on expanding them. Finally, he needs to work on his grammar more as he sometimes used both present and past verbs in the same sentences and used an incorrect preposition, such as, ‘in the way’.

Mohamad  Shahriyari

Mohamad demonstrated good listening skills as he was able to comprehend the majority of his questions. Furthermore, he was able to form full simple sentences. However, he made some mistakes with word order, for example, ‘on vacation I prefer to play golf’ and he often had to be asked ‘why’ to gain further information from him, so he needs to work on expanding them.

Hamed  Hashemi

Hamed was able to use the present simple tense well when talking about his typical day. Also, he used sequencers and adverbs suitably and used a wide range of vocabulary in his answers. However, he made a couple of pronunciation errors, such as, ‘sweet shirt’ and used the incorrect noun form as he said, ‘I’m an architecture’.

Ali  Khozardi

Ali spoke at a good pace and had brilliant pronunciation skills as he stress words correctly and used intonation well. Furthermore, he was able to speak in the present and past simple tense and he used adverbs well. However, he should work on his listening more because he misheard a couple of his questions and he sometimes used an auxiliary verb when speaking in the present simple tense, such as, ‘I’m eat healthy food’.

MohamadJavad   Oji

Mohamad used sequencers well and was able to use examples suitably in his responses. Furthermore, he demonstrated good listening skills as he could comprehend all of his questions easily. Having said this, he tended to pronounce a ‘v’ as a ‘w’, like ‘wacation’ and did not use modal verbs for his question on possible vacation problems.

Leila  Mojab

Leila spoke at a natural pace and used an array of words in her replies. In addition, she was able to give detailed answers and could speak in various tenses easily. However, she should work on her listening more as she did not understand a couple of her questions, which resulted in an inappropriate answer being given. Also, she made one or two pronunciation errors, such as, ‘adwise’.

Jila  Salari

Jila was able to paraphrase her questions and used third person verb forms well. Furthermore, she was able to use comparative language correctly and spoke in full sentences.
