Sedigheh Hoseinizadeh

Sedigheh was able to comprehend all of her questions well and could name all of the months in correct order. Also, she spoke clearly, at a steady pace and had good pronunciation. However, she needs to work on her grammar more as she missed the ‘(e)s’ off plural nouns, such as, ‘wear glass’ and she added ‘to’ after some verbs without an infinitive verb to follow.

Mona Valipoor

Mona gave detailed answers and was able to form present simple sentences perfectly, including third person verbs. Furthermore, she could speak in the past simple tense easily and used a wide range of vocabulary. She should now look at linking her ideas together with linkers as she tended to say ‘I …, I …, i…’.

Samra Nazari

Samra gave an in-depth introduction and used an array of words. In addition, she used full sentences throughout and spoke in the present and past tense appropriately. However, she sometimes followed ‘to’ with a gerund instead of an infinitive and missed the ‘s’ off plural nouns, so she should work on her grammar slightly.

Atlas tried to give full answers whenever possible and used sequencers to stage her responses. Also, she spoke at a steady pace and use pronouns well. Having said this, she needs to work on her listening a lot more because she often gave an inappropriate reply as she misheard the question e.g. when asked to name the days of the week, she spoke about her daily routine. Monireh Khosravi

Monireh gave detailed answers throughout and was able to use appropriate examples to support her answers. Furthermore, she could understand all of her questions easily and used contrasting language well. However, she needs to work on her speaking speed as there were some occasions when she spoke quite slow which reduced her fluency also, she needs to use more synonyms to avoid repetition.

MohamadReza Oji

Mohamad gave rather in-depth responses during his interview and spoke at a natural pace. Also, he used personal examples well and spoke in full sentences using suitable tenses. However, he needs to work on his word forms as he used a noun instead of the adjective form of a word, such as, ‘beauty’ rather than ‘beautiful’. Also, he should focus on his listening more as he misheard a couple of questions

Lida Omran

Lida could expand her answers well by using various examples to support her ideas. Furthermore, she used a wide range of vocabulary and spoke in the present and past tense with ease. She needs to work on her grammar a little more as she had a couple of issues with word order and used an incorrect preposition, such as, ‘go to swim’.

Alireza  Mosavi

Alireza used contrasting linkers suitably and was able to use ‘going to’ structures properly when referring to a future plan. He needs to work on his pronunciation more as he pronounced ‘p’s as a ‘b’. Also, he used the wrong noun form when speaking about sports as he said ‘gymnasium’ instead of ‘gymnastics’.

Raziyeh                Maher

Raziyeh used a wide range of vocabulary which suited her questions and could comprehend most of her questions easily. Furthermore, she spoke at a steady pace and tried to answer in full sentences. Having said this, she made a couple of grammatical errors as she would follow ‘to’ with a gerund at times, and missed out main verbs.

SamanehEftetah

Samaneh spoke in full sentences and had very good grammatical skills. In addition, she used suitable vocabulary and had good listening skills. However, she needs to work on expanding her questions automatically because she was asked ‘why’ quite a bit in order to obtain additional material.

Amir Koei

Amir used conjunctions well in his sentences and tried to answer using full sentences rather than short ones. Also, he used examples well and could comprehend the majority of his questions. He needs to work on the past tense more thought because when he spoke in the past, he used present simple verbs. In addition, he too had some issues with uncountable nouns and quantifiers.

Zahra Zamani

Zahra gave a detailed introduction and was able to speak in full sentences using the correct verb form for third person verbs. Furthermore, she used a wide range of lexis in her answers and understood her questions easily.
